Is it me (and my driving style!) or are these tyres crap in the wet...?
they came as standard on the car from dealer...![Frown](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/frown.gif)
bit of rain this morning and all of a sudden its scary moment time on a corner just tootling along minding my own business when i go into a little slide... with a focus on the outside... luckily didnt slide too far but still...
it happened earlier on a roundabout as well![Frown](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/frown.gif)
they seem fine in the dry...
what would be a good replacement tyre thats good wet and dry?
I had a set of SO3's on a Celica and i thought they were very good in the wet!
edited to say i have a MY01 WRX now... got 17's on...

The RE011 I had on when I got the car just tramlined like mad over what appeared to be even the smoothest of roads, but have found RE055 (? come standard on MY02's) much better.
As for wet performance, the RE011's were not on long enough for me to find out. Not had problems with the RE055's.
Most people on here do not rate either tyre!

Cheers mark,
Will be a while before i have to replace them...
but will go with F1's most likely... from what ive seen most peeps like them![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Heard some funny rattling noises last night on the way home... went away when braking! and a worse noise when just ticking along slowly
almost like a grinding sound.
turns out ive lost the little springy 's' clip that goes on the pads... round the retaining pins... on the drivers side
dunno how the bloody thing came off... was there the other week!
all bad news at the moment...
