I have brand new 17" STI gold rims on my mica red turbo, which I dont think look right. Was thinking of getting them re-coloured silver or anthracite. Is this recommended, or will I have problems with them. What sort of price should I be paying to have this done?

I had my 16" alloys powder coated silver over black and they look excellent. No problems at all a few months down the line. Cost about 50 quid per alloy which i think is reasonable.

Thumbs down

Got to watch when you get the alloys reconditioned. Baking metal can produce weak spots which can crack. it happened to me. thankfully not at 90!
