trouble picking tires

with the rain and snow that you guys get there what tires do you run all year? i live in the states but have bad winters sometimes and am tired of cahnging to summer wheels. thanks in advance

Hi,
I use Goodyear Eagle F1's and I am very happy with the performance in the wet or in snow. Other tyres do perform better in the dry but I would rather have the grip when it matters...

aj - we don't actually get much snow over here. You guys get a lot more. There are a few users in places like Sweden, perhaps they'll give you some feedback.
Last year it snowed for a few hours at the end of January, with around a foot of snow settling on the ground, and the whole country came to a standstill.
I have heard that it's best to disconnect the ABS in the snow.
