ive got a problem, the main dealers have busted my key for my locking wheel nuts, and the master key they have been sent does not fit,so i was wondering if anybody knew where i can get them taken off,ive tried a couple of tyre places including kwik fits and ive been to an alloy wheel refurbisher and they all say the same thing, sorry we dont do them any more,

get a socket slighly smaller than the lock nut, hammer it into the nut, and bob's your uncle. You'll obviously have to get a new nut, but that;s the way it goes. Alternatively, you can drill through, but that's a lot more time consuming. Hope that helps

You can get those Gator grip socket things that are like a socket but have a load of spring loaded pins inside that adjust to knackered bolts and nuts etc... I have heard of them working and that wont damage the nut.
Why not try taking it to a body shop - when I used to work in one we used to occasionally get stolen recovered cars in with no locking wheel nut key and they either do the hammering a smaller socket on thing or get a hammer and chisel on it.

Hi m8
the slightly smaller socket works
i lost my one and had to do it
plus you will not damage the alloys that way
use a multi tooth socket not the hexagon type
hope that helps
