Exclamation

Since getting my MY03 STI Type UK in October 2003, the brakes have squeaked at very low speeds under gentle braking. Thats the only time they do it. Of course given the recent weather, low speeds and gentle braking means its doing it all the time! Anyone else have this with theirs or can shed some light on the problem please?

Thanks.

I drive a 96 Escort Cosworth I had the same problem, tryed new pads and disks gave it a week and the squeeking would come back.
Later last year I changed my job, I would have to wait in traffic with the old job so this ment soft braking, but with the new job iam straight through on a morning, to my surprise no more squeeky brakes.

Just noticed tonight that I had a very slight squeak re braking from less than 5 mph from the back I think. 5k miles on clock. I'm not worried about it - I normally only hear the exhaust

Clean the discs, as there might be brake dust on them.
