Question Offset ?????

Looking at some new alloys on different sites, Team dynamics being one.

Looking at the fitment charts for some of the 17's - can't see how they would fit when the offset is 45.

Thought scoobies were 35 ( or near that ).

Any help here - would be greatly appreciated

Factory offset is 53! On most cases with aftermarket alloys you won't have problem if you fit >48 offset though!

Depends on the model.
The new age STi is different to the new age WRX, if its the classic shape or the new age WRX (excluding the 22B) then the offset you need is between 48 and 52mm.

So why do they advertise these alloys with 45 offset then ?

Surely they won't fit ?

I'm looking for a MY99 Vreg SPORT

Even Prodrive-Japan sells wheels (GC010) for the STI with 45 offset(if my memory serves me right) but IMVHO isn't good, try keeping the offset between the limits mentioned before(48-53).

I am running 8x18" Mille Miglia Evo's with 45mm offset and only get slight rubbing, but arches have not been rolled yet.

Car handles fine, car is V4 Type R.
