Default MY02 - 18" 35 or 40 profile ?

Hi there,

Been on the tyre calculating web site and it says that if your moving up from a 225/45/17 then the best profile for the 18" is 40 to retain a near perfect speedo, although the 35 profile is only out slightly anyway (ie @ 60mph you are doing 58.1) - I could live with that.

so my question is, on the newage cars (MY02 STi), would a 35 profile be better than a 40, or vice versa.

Comments/feeback welcome.

Just now torn between F1's or Toyo Proxies......

www.mytyres.co.uk seem to be the cheapest I can find so far.

go for the 40 profile mate, will best for ride and it is the recommened size.

have you tried p zero neros or michelin sport 2's, I am on the neros and find them v.good, now some one on the sport 2's and he says better than the neros which he had on the car b4.
