Thumbs up

I used a wire brush attachment on a drill, then cleaned with brake cleaner and painted with Hammerite smooth finish.

Looks great

Default Caliper paint

I used the Halfords caliper paint, wire brushed the calipers and then applied three coats. After first coat you think 'fek they look ****e', but you have to get more on and then it sets ok.

The stuff is quite stringy and goes on real messy, but as it dries it kinda smooths out and hardens.

i used a small pot of hammerite direct over rust silver paint, gave the calipers a wipe down to remove any grease etc, painted straight on with one coat....looks perfect and has stayed perfect for the last 2 months! and paying £5 is much better than the £20 for the caliper paint kit

The red calipers look very nice against the gold Alloys!

I wonder what it would look like if the calipers were painted sliver and had gold alloys?
