Has anyone any info on the reason the ABS light comes on and stays on after the car has been standing for 4 or 5 days.

I had it when I first picked the car up and it went out after 3 days use.

The Xmas break has brought it on again. I guess it is down to low presssure in the system, but why does it take such a long time to go out.
Something to worry about or not?

I wouldn't have thought its anything to do with pressure. On a Bosch system if there is an imbalance between the output of the sensors then the abs light comes on cos it thinks one is faulty. Standing in the damp could be having a similar effect on your car, the abs ecu thinks that it has a faulty sensor. Try checking all sensor cables/connectors and also all the areas related that moisture could be getting in. Especially in the vicinity of the abs motor. BTW you haven't removed your blanking plates have you ?
