Anyone know (or recommend) an alloy wheel refurbishment company (pref in London / South East)

Also a colleague has an MY98 UK Turbo whos alloys are corroding around the centre cap - any experience of similar(ie problems not caused by hitting curbs etc )

I had my wheels done at, Surbiton Tyre & Battery Service, 171 Hook Road, Surbiton, Surrey, KT6 5AR. You can get them on (020)8397 4046.

It cost me about £200 for all four wheels. Same price for silver or graphite!

They have a loan set of Subaru wheels as well! Although you'll have to give them a call for these, as they may be at the other office.

They sent the wheels away early Tuesday, and they get them back about Friday lunchtime!

I was very impressed with the finish on them, as was my Subaru dealer, who had tried lots of people before then!!

Worth a go, I guess!!

In this months Banzai there is an ad for a company called MTS in Hayes that does wheel refurbs.

I have just phoned Revamp

I know exactly where they are and I'm going to pop in at the weekend just to look them over, as they are 5 mins from where my kids live.

The guy on the phone said to put back to silver abut £30 a wheel. need to book in first.

Spit and Polish are another refurb company - operate all over the South East - they just pick up from garages.

 

Spit and Polish are in Tonbridge. Im not sure they pick up any more. I was quoted 38 pounds to do a refurb including refitting and balancing the tyre.
