Default Brakes for beginners

Im looking into buying a RB5 and its gonna come with 325mm 4 pot Brembo conversion.
Now I need to tell the insurance company that this is the only mod on the car and they asked me a question that I didnt have a clue about.
they asked me "are they grooved or vented?". What???

all i know is that its coming with calipers, discs and pads.

Its easier for me to get insurance on the car online but they dont have a section for mods. Will the brakes cost me more on insurance?
Can I buy online then add it on to my insurance a week later?

These are "grooved & vented" discs.

The "vented" bit means they have a cooling channel sandwiched between the two disc faces.

BTW the RB5 came with vented discs as standard, so if they hike the price up just mentio that. The only difference will be the discs are physically larger (bigger diameter), possibly slightly thicker (to help heat distribution) and the calipers will be lighter.

They shouldn't charge you an arm and a leg for this mod.

Buying online and asking later is risky as they may turn around and say it's not allowed or quote a huge premium. Get them to put everything in writing first.
