Unhappy

I have Bremsport Grooved Disks and EBC pads which once warm actually shake the steering wheel quite violently; doesn't inspire a lot of confidence! Garage has inspected brakes and say they're fine (not warped) but do admit they judder. However, because they are non subaru parts they don't want to know.

Help please.

It sounds as though the discs are warping when they get hot, then returnig to normal as they cool.
Normally an indication of poo discs.

Stef.

Hmmm, I get that too, pretty disconcerting when your doing say a ton and then brake and the steering wheel nearly vibrates your hands off!!!

Ive just bought my 94 STI, and the dealer had the (standard) dics skimmed and fitted new pads for me.

I think its my discs too...but your discs sound like a decent set though...

Berkeley, I think Stef's got it right. I had Bremsport discs (not to be confused with Brembo) and they were fine under normal, gentle braking. But get them hot and there was no doubt they were warped. Scoobymania gave me a full refund.

Got AP Racing kit now
