Hi

I have 18in P1 alloys in grey has anyone changed them to gold or does any one know how much this would be to change to gold.

Hi Deep,

I used this company before on a cilo 16v and the gold flaked off.I wondered if I could send them back to Prodrive or Oz to be sprayed correctly.

Rich, I'm glad you told me that because I was thinking of using them myself! Did you confront them about it and what did they say?

Rich,

as the P1 wheels are available in gold from Subaru dealers, I would suggest that the best quality finish would be obtained by purchasing a set (without tyres), and then selling your 18 inch ones. Assuming you can find a buyer (shouldn't be too difficult), then the cost difference between buying new ones, and getting your existing ones stripped and re-sprayed shouldn't be that high, and you would end up with a better result.
