At the risk of resurrecting Tyre Wars, my MY98 is running a treat on its new Goodyear F1's. Only 1mm wear all round in 5000 miles, great wet or dry, no tramlining and no more noise but perhaps a slightly harsher ride than the original RE010's. I got them at Just Tyres locally @ £95 each including everything plus a 15,000 mile guarantee!
Bliss and this is no commercial!

Yeah, I've got them on the front, and I want them on the back but my tyre man says he can't get them his supplier says there are none in the country at present.

Anyone?
