Why oh why didn't I ditch the OEMs the moment I bought the car.
I can't believe the difference a decent set of rubber makes.
After having S02PPs fitted and scrubbing them in a bit, at first I thought the car was a bit nervous - felt like the back was stepping out, but once I got a bit more confident I realised it was actually the front turning in more aggressively.
It honestly feels like a completely different car - and a better one at that.

Best £400 I've ever spent on a car.

..and if they are fitted to 17" wheels even more joy can be had.

Just changed my OEM tyres for SO2PPs and have had the same experience. Even make the car look better IMHO.

Hi Paul
I'm glad you're happy with your choice, you follwed my mate today, he drives a MK1 golf in green, he said that seeing your car going around a roundabout behind him was the best bit of the day. Strange what some people get off on eh!
