S02 Price - Any Good?
#1
Just been quoted £111 for an S02 PP at Bathwick.
Does that seem any good for a standard 16"?
I was also quoted £150 for the same from National.
Other price comparisons (if anyone's interested)
Pirelli P7000: £96 (Bathwick), £106 (Chessington), £100 (National)
Goodyear F1: £96 (Bathwick), £125 (Chessington), £170 (National)
None of the places I phoned had Toyo's

Well when you can pick up a 215/40/17z so2 for 120 quid i think that 111 for a 205/50/16 is a little high, keep shopping around, there are bargains to be had!!

Think I can better these prices!!
4 x SO3 (yes 3...due to be released next month) for nothing. Not a bean....
But then working for a tyre distributor does have its advantages... :P:P

Hi Paul
Long time no see!
I neede new tyres on my car (yes already) I rang around and ended up going to Mike Stokes tyres, in Ashley Road, I got a set of Toyo's fitted and balanced all-in for £340. which I thought was a damn good price, I rand them and they said that they sell loads of them, and they had them in stock.
I have now done about 2k on them and I would say that they are defo better than the original tyres, but then again when you go from worn-out to new its always difficult to judge.
I have also just had my car serviced at Millway cars in Wilton, and I was very pleased with the outcome, they also did the body service and undersealed the entire underside of the car, it looks like new again.

Hi Ron,
Was definitely after a set of S-02s. I was just curious about the other prices.
£111 was the cheapest I could find locally (must admit to not trying Mike Stokes).
Anyway's done and dusted now, and my wallet is £444 lighter.
So, are Millway cars an approved Subaru service centre - as in keeping your 3-year warranty intact?

Bridgestone update....
SO3 due for release in Subaru sizes probably now May. Prices likely to be very similar to SO2.
Hoping to be able to post a piccy here shortly. Suffice to say that tread pattern is very different to the SO2.
Anyone who's interested in prices / availability in the East Anglia / S Midlands / Kent / Sussex areas drop me an e-mail & I'll get back to you when the details become firmer.
