Can anyone tell if the wheels fitted to an sti v were available in 17" and if so do u know where i can get a set

Are you refering to the soft edge five spokes? As far as I know,they are only available in 16". I wish they available in 17's.

The STi 5 wheels were never produced in 17" but Japan spec Legacy was equiped with very similar wheels in anthracite some years ago.
