Pzero Rosso or Bridgestone S03 or Yokohama AVS (16"!)
#1
What to choose on original 16" wheels:
-Pirelli Pzero Rosso
-Bridgestone S03
-Yokohama AVS Sport or Yokohama Advan 680 (original tires on the Lancer EVO VII??? Information as seen in EVO-magazine...)
I'm now very satisfied of my Pzero-set (205/50-16 87Y), although they produce a lot of noise...

Jo,
I changed 2 months ago from P-Zero (205/45/16) to Yoko AVS Sport (205/50/16). The Yoko suits perfectly my driving style. I would recommend them. They are really excellent in dry and give you a fantastic control and a great feedback of the road. They are as good as the “old” P-zero in wet but although their design, wet condition is not their strongest point. However, they resist quite well to hydroplaning and they “squeal” in curve much less as the P-Zero.
Bad points: they have a tinny tendency to trammeling under braking and seem to wear quite fast (I guess it’s mainly due to my driving style…)
I’ve no experience in the other tires you’ve mentioned but as far as I’ve heard, the new P-Zero Rosso is generally better as the old one (comfort, wet handling, wear…)
Hope this helps!
