Afternoon/morning all....
I've tried to search for an answer on this...but have failed..![](http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/confused.gif)
Can any of the P1 owners or Mike Wood (Prodrive) confirm what the best/suggested pressure should be for general road use...following the upgrade to 18's??
My P1 just seems to be way to skittish at the mo (and yes I know my driving history doesn't help me here!!
)...very loose at the front end...now whilst I love a car that I can feel and react to...this just doesn't feel right...
Any comments...suggestions??
Cheers Tom

I have the same wheels fitted on my MY01 but i think they will have a different tyre size
225 40 18, dealer advised me to use standard pressures - 33 front 31 rear
simon.

I think 31 psi is way too low for 18" wheels & tires. I'd suggest at least 35psi both front and rear. I started at 32psi but an now up to 42psi front and rear.
You got to find out what works for you so don't be afraid of experimenting a bit. But 35psi is as low as I'd go.

Tom
I am now running 35 all around, up from 32 and I think that it feels a lot better
, less tyre roll. Still, I may add an other 1 or 2 psi to see what happens
