AFAIK they should work both on track and on normal roads. Work well from cold and will give you a much better "bite" than OEM pads... then again anything will.

Won't dust as much as some other pads but will squeel when reversing (haven't noticed when braking going forwards...).

Yep - I run Pagid blue pads with Pagid 8 groove discs. IMHO the best upgrade before you get into the serious money and do the AP / Brembo conversions. Brake feel is improved, stopping distance is reduced and they track straight and true when you have to stamp on them hard (also done a track day at Bedford and a few laps of Nurburgring with no problems whatsoever).

Question

So what's the difference between the Pagid discs with 16 grooves and 8 grooves... apart from a few quid?

And are they (Pagid) miles better than the old Brembo group N discs (that I currently have)?

Question

Can someone please tell me what the recommended bedding-in period for Pagid blues on Pagid 8 groove discs is please? I am doing two sessions at Trax and want everything well sorted by then.

Cheers

Simon - seem to remember being told that it was a couple of hundred miles at most. Best thing to do is speak to Jeff at HiSpec engineering. He supplied my Pagid kit - very knowledgable guy - details at

I just upgraded to Pagid pads/8 groove discs - best thing I've done to the car - great feel even from cold, and fantastic stopping power compared to standard STI setup.

Scoobysport advised a good 3-400 miles running in but also over a few weeks so that they heated up and cooled a number of times in order to temper etc and prevent warping when pushed hard.
