I have EBC pads (Green) and Turbo groove discs, so far (15K miles, no bad disc wear and still half the pads left). Driving mix is 50% motorway/50% fast and twisty roads, this setup is ideal, I would have gone for the reds, but these are less well suited to motorway as they need to warm up!
Also, they green stuff leave practically no brake dust which is great!
So you pays your money and takes your choice...

Mintex 1155's are extremely dirty pads, so be prepared to clean your wheels properly every week, they are very good for stopping power, but I don't think that they are any better than the Greenstuff's for normal playing about.

If you are sticking to the road I can highly recommend greenstuff . Excellent bite from cold and I never suffered any fade , even on the track . But if you are planning to do any track days use something else as they wear very rapidly . I tried redstuff - not as good as greenstuff on the road and even worse on the track . As far as disc wear goes they are easy on the discs unlike mintex .
