Unhappy

I've just had my pads changed on my 330mm Alcons by a friend of mine who is a mechanic.
After the pads were fitted I was experiencing a very gentle binding on the front especially when turning a sharp right.
Drove out to a secluded spot to bed the pads in properly to see if that would eliminate the binding.
It was obviously the passengers side caliper because after driving a few miles without braking to cool down, the drivers side disc was cool but the passengers side was hot.
After the bed-in process it didn't seem as bad but it was still there.

What would be causing the binding, and do you think this would disappear after a few more miles, any ideas??

Cheers,

Rob

Could be a sticky piston, I had a similar problem with mr rear 2 pots. One of teh Piston boots had split allowing water & crap to seep in causing a build up on the piston thus not enabling it to retract properly.

Although if you Alcons are new that may not be the case.

Just a thought

It could be something as silly as the new pad being slightly too thick, hence the binding. Don't quote me though.
get it checked out! Brakes are knida important.
