Hi,

I'm looking to replace my current PZero's after 28000 miles from new.

I've been phoning around and found that Pirelli are discounting their tyres in October.

If I wait a few days I can get them for £95+VAT instead of the usual £115/£120+VAT.

Sounds like a good deal, but can anyone get them cheaper elsewhere?

Kevin,

The price was from B Swift, Bathgate nr. Edinburgh so it might be a bit out of your way.

Apparently it's Pirelli that are reducing the cost, so any Pirelli dealer should pass on the discount. You have to order them in October, so wait until Monday before parting with any cash.

So Plantie, where did you get them for £93? or aren't you allowed to tell !

ozzy,

I'm selling my P-Zeros, all four were new 4000 miles ago on the last service for the P1. I'm swapping to Toyos, happy to sell them if you want them.

Hmmm, I think someone's having me on.

Just phoned our good friends at Micheldever who quoted £82+£12.50(delivery)+VAT for 4 PZero 205/45/17's.

October special I says - news to me they say !!

Hi Petoir,

Thanks for the offer, but I'm thinking of changing to SO3's or T1-S's as well.

Thanks anyway,

Stefan

Thumbs up

Cheers Kev,

No surprise that my local Kwik-Fit/Budget don't have a Scooby on what's going on.

BTW I was quoted £150 all in from Kwik-Fit yesterday. No prizes for guessing what I told them.

Just replaced all four of my PZeros with Gooyear F1's, at £75 each fitted/balanced etc. Don't know where you are in Scotland M8 but I got my tyres from Gates Tyres in Carlisle. Couldn't get PZeros down to below £100 anywhere, but I have the F1's on my other car and they are superb in both the wet and dry, and so far feel OK on the Scooby.

JKJ2,

Thanks for the info. I'm half-way between Glasgow/Edinburgh, but managed to source a supplier not too far away.

I managed to get 4 x Goodyear 215/40/17's for .... wait for it .... £250 all in.

To say I'm chuffed is an understatement, especially when some national tyre dealers quote £150 per tyre.
