On the way home from work there is a 1 mile long hill - so i usually free wheel down it (to save petrol ).

I noticed that rather than speed up, i slowed down instead!!! Lost about 10mph as i went down.

I also have noticed that if i approach say traffic lights on a slight incline, i dont role back after ive come to a stop!

My brakes seem to have lost some of their initial bite as well.

Any ideas?? Are they binding?

Didn't notice a slowdown when i tried freewheeling down a long hill, but it didn't speed up, unlike my old car. (non-scooby)

Did change the brake pads recently, and i can now stop every time.
