Got a UK MY98 wagon with the standard 16" wheels (2 sets) and 6 legal tyres, 4 rims in reasonable condition and 4 pretty beat up but good enough for track day or winter use. I was going to just get new tyres in a month or so but would consider a deal if the price is right (yep I'm on a tight budget - depends how desperate you are to do the deal I guess!!) I'm not too interested in the condition of your wheels or tyres as long as they aren't gouged to **** and slicked.

I could probably pick a set of 16's up on here for a 1er.

Main thing is somebody will have to pay me at least £600 for the 18's.

Now I don't think I'm being unreasonable given the fact they are half the price of new 18's and in identical condition...

Yer right £600 probably is a very fair price but try telling my missus!! I've only just managed to persuade her that I need to spend £400 on tyres! I don't want to take the micky with a daft bid, but I'll have a think about it as to be fair I'd been looking for a set of 17"s with part worns closer to the price of the tyres when I stunmbled on your post -I've been looking on e-bay that's what sort of budget I'm on! Just so you know 4 of the wheels are quite scuffed but all have tyres with about 3-4mm on. The other set are my usual wheels and in pretty good nick with just small scuffs and scrapes they are in need of tyres but they could be swopped around pretty easily and you could still sell on the bashed set for winter/track use. As stated I'll have a think and check back with you. Understand completely if someone else makes a better offer (still be sad having been tempted by me dream wheels!!)

Basically what I need before I can trade the car in is:

1.Original set of 16' 5 spoke alloys with legal tread tyres for an MY99 without any major kerbing.

2.£500 Cash from the person who want's them.

3.Buyer collects.

4.An agreement before 4pm tomorrow before I fly off to Canada for 1 week.

I return on Tuesday 28th September so whoever wants the wheels before I trade the car in that afternoon will have to come and meet up with me beforehand on the day.

Now does that all seem fair or what?

Sorry Micka that's me out of the equation. I'm in North Devon so I'd need to leave now to get there in time! (It's about 7-8 hrs drive to Newcastle)The additional cost of fuel to meet would blow my budget entirely. Hope you find someone else.
