Picture of brake caliper ?
Hi,
Does anyone out there have a few pictures of the OEM front caliper that will show me the pad anti rattle spring and maybe where to put the copper grease?
Also getting loads of squealing from the handbrake shoes, any remedies?
regards
Dave

Dont have a pic, but it's real easy, if you pull out the caliper pins (spring clip in end oof each to be removed first) the anti rattle spring on top will come off. Pull the pads out and check you have 2 shims on the back of EACH pad, if not they may rattle. Clean all the shims and copper grease both sides. Clean un the pins and copper grease them. Clean up the caliper where the pad makes contact at the top and bottom points apply a little grease to these contact points, clean face of caliper piston, slide pads back in with their shims on, put anti rattle clip back on, slide greased pins through, add clip to end of each pin - job done!
