Cheapest place to get Ferodo DS2000 pads for 330mm Bremsport Brake kit?
Does anyone know the cheapest place to get a set of Ferodo DS2000 pads for 330mm Bremsport Brake kit?
Would also consider other pads if suitable and also a place to buy the discs for future reference?
At the minute im using DS3000 pads for road use and dont find them that effective!

I would have thought DS3000 are more suited to the track. Would these need warming up before working properly?
The Ferrodo pad of choice for fast road is DS2500.
Also consider Pagid RS4-2.1, or Mintex (1144, I think) or EBC Ceramic Red.
For suppliers, contact Alyn at AS Performance or Performance Braking in Monmouth. Both extremely helpful and efficient offering next day delivery. Both companies carry decent stock levels.

Yes i got the complete set second hand with hardly any miles on them cheap, so thats why i bought them.
The pads do need a lot of warming up, but still break a lot better from cold than the crappy 2 pots.
Think ill wear the pads out then go for one of the ones you said, how much would it be for a set of pads for the 330mm discs, i know you can get the EBC Red Stuff for about £60 mark for standard discs?

Don't think it matters what discs you have, it's the calipers that determine the part number for the pads. The Pagid's for std 4 pot caliper are around UK£140 and the Ferrodo are prob £10 cheaper. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for. The Mintex are cheaper, I think. As for EBC, make sure you're talking about Ceramic Red as these are the only ones EBC recommend for the scoob. I think they're around £110 from EBC direct, but may be cheaper from an independent supplier.
Give Alyn a call at AS Performance on 01914 103770. They're always very helpful and give advice based on experience, not sales literature.
