Right then I have to change my front tyres, as the left front is totally bold on the outer edge where compared to the right front its normal.
At the moment I have Eagle F1's, they're not that bad but would anybody have any other suggestions for other make and models and why.
Cheers for any advice.

as catsteye says really,i would say the f1 is the best all round for grip/wear but the proxes tend to be cheaper and as grippy if not more grippy but dont tend to last as long as the f1.

Yes I've been told to get a geometry /tracking check as one side is wearing faster than the other, either due to tracking or the suspension is worn.
Is that the Toyo T1S or T1R, either one would cost £81.32 including fitment, balance, disposal and a new valve.
How does that compare prices that you know off.

Surely the front left tyre is always the first to go. It's the roundabouts we all use. Worth rotating the tyres every couple of months, keeps them all wearing at the same rate.
If you can, get the T1r's, 25% better in the wet, so I'm told.

I always foudn that my F1's wore out on the edge quickly, I think its due to then being a fairly soft compound that help with grip but doenst help with wear.
I found that Michelin Pilot sports (not the sport 2) wear very well, grip is great and they progressivly let go rather than the F1's that I found went grip grip grip loose
I am gonna try some Michelin sports 2 soon and also some Kumho 712's, I know that they are not a well known brand but at £58 a tyre for 18's!! I thought it was worth a go. If they are really crap then I will use them on a track day and not on the road but if you dont try these things we will never know!
Nezz.
