im about to do this myself this weekend,so im bumping it to top,
only thing i am concerned with is the handbrake mechanism, there seems to be a set of "drums" that hold the hand brake on, is there anything that i should look out for?
regards

Easy peasy.

IIRC you only need to undo one rear caliper bolt and rotate the caliper to replace the disc. Release the handbrake shoes and watch they don't bind.

job done!
pretty easy, only dificulty was re adjusting the handbrake, had to bend an old screwdriver to 45 deg to get access to the hole on back of plate!
wrx, i export fish to france, and the only time i get asked for kippers is from ex pat scots!, im sure they are delicious all the same!
