brake pad change and caliper partially siezed?

Default brake pad change and caliper partially siezed?

are they any special tools i need to remove the and change the rear pads?

also unsiezing a partially siezed caliper what do i remove and grease etc?

A 14mm socket if I remember rightly. Thats all.

Undo the 2 bolts that hold the pads in on the caliper back, slide the pads off the disc and remove, push the piston back in, (you may not even need to unscrew brake fluid resovoir top).
The bits that usually sieze are the 2 bolts which have the rubber gaitor on them.
Check they slide in & out, if not take them all the way out, clean them up & regrease. Put new pads in and check caliper slides forward & back, tighten bolts. Piece of p1ss 10 mins/side max.

Dont know what your rear discs are like, but while you are there its not much harder to replace these as well.

Just a point to note, jetwashing the calipers clean can cause water to be forced under the rubbers, causing the sliding bolts to seize in the non too distant future. You have been warned.

Just to add I always use red brake rubber grease on slide bolts not ordinary grease or coppaslip as these can attack rubber components.
