Question BREMBO DISC'S

Does anybody know, how much replacements are for a V7/V8 STI, front discs only. Oh yes, wot are the best pads on these for everyday driving? (not like a nutter).

I recently bought some Godspeed Front Disc's and EBC red ceramic pads all for £299.30 inc. Del.

I have tried DS2500's and STD Brembo Pads. So far the Red Pads work well under normal driving, far less noise and knock off . £85 ish, that's £50 less than DS's and £140 less than Brembo IIRC.

My memory is rather cr4p but seem to remember Dealer supply OEM front discs and Pads were £600+ about 12-18 months ago they since have dropped prices IIRC.

I think the Brembo brakes are bigger than the standard subaru ones, so unless you get the calippers aswell, I dont think they will fit. Tarox or EBC turbo grooved discs are very good, had both and prefer the EBC. Great bite with the red stuff ceramic pads, and alot less dust than tarox

Are they not the same as the Evo 5,6,7,8 brembos? been told so. Is it more or less expensive, or the same price even to buy Evo parts?

the EvO uses a different disc size set-up, and although the calipers are the same basic design there are specific differences.................
hope this helps
