Thats just a tad expensive, all they need is a new seal kit, and at most new pistons and they'll be fine!!

The warranty people will probably say that it's not covered, they'll try to say that it's an age thing of the car, and not something that could be avoided.... good luck!

Seems to be a common thing with Subaru dealers not wanting to strip and replace seals. Try Alyn at AS performance. He does them and at reasonable prices. Other than that its DIY or buy replacement calipers

what were the symptoms of the caliper seizing? Did you take a look at the issue yourself or just have the dealership diagnose the problem?

Hi. I had one caliper seize on my car. They wanted £50 + VAT for just the pads and about £300 for 1 caliper. I took it somewhere else to get a 2ndhand caliper that cost £50 fitted. Theyre Central Subaru in Wolverhampton if u need them!
