Default Toyo Proxes T1-R

Anyone tried these new tyre's yet?

Getting a set on monday and just wondered if anyone's already got some and what there thoughts are, especially about their wet road abilities...

I am getting some on the P1 on Friday and then doing a 100 mile round trip on Saturday (mostly B roads ) so I'll let you know.

Ive got a full set on my Type R, had them on my last scoob as well. They're really good in the dry, last much longer than the T1-S tyres due to strengthened shoulders. In the really wet, they're great too. On damp, greasy roads, pretty much the same as most tyres... slippy if you push too hard!! LOL

I can get 215/40/17 & 215/45/17 for £86 all in (fitted/balanced/vat)
T1-S £70 all in.

Our preferred choice of tyres the T1 R's, call Steve on 01702 474711 for a great price on Toyo's (PS mention Knowlesy....)

Flippin 'eck, that's cheap J!! Can't get them for anything like that in my area.

135 quid a pair all in!!! could this be a session to see who can get the cheapest set of t1-r?

I like them now, but when i first got them i thought they were really greasy, since then 500 miles in and they grip real nice, better than the t1s and dont wear the edges so much. I would reccommend.

That is mega cheap, thats cheaper than T1-S!!!!

I got my 215/35/18 T1-R's for £83 from www.mytyres.co.uk fitting wont cost much.

I've just ordered 2 T1-R's for the STI, 225/45/17 £83.40 each from mytyres.net

Will be getting 2 more in a few months time so wouldnt mind getting themeven cheaper if anyone knows where
