Question Michelin Pilot Sport 2 - anyone tried?

As the title reads.......has anyone tried these on a WRX?

Currently using Toyo T1S's and the front pair will soon need replacing.

Thanks,

Andy.

I have them in my slightly modified WRX03 (225/40/18) with STI/Prodrive suspension and although they are perfect when achieve working temp they need some more time than my factory RE050 to do this, of course tire dimension and speed indicator play a huge rule!
Our asphalt is quite different from yours and more slippery so IMO they'll perform much better on good tarmac and more important they are by far less noisy-more comfortable from everything else I have tried.

OK Jim thank you for the info. I'm looking at 225/40/18 too. I have standard WRX03 with WRC1 Prodrive wheels. How do you rate them for tyre wear?

Thanks,

Andy.

From my experience Michelins last longer than Bridgestones-Goodyears-Pirellis keeping very good performance until 30-40000km!
I have them already 18000km in my car and can say that I feel no difference at all in performance, although they wear physically they perform as new:

Hope this helps you in your decision!

just put a set on my o.z s/legerras and i'm very impressed as well, did go up from 215/45z17 to 225/40z18 so that would help a bit but not as much as i have gained,i think i made the right choice,it looks like michelin going into formula 1 as helped as i never used to rate michelin apart from low tyre noise and excellent wear but now they seem to have it all.
