Default Its that time again, new tyres needed

Front wearing onisde edge, got alinment sorted (at STS Wheel Alinment, in bedford, if anyones interested). Anyway was told by the tyre fitter that Subaru advise a tolarance of 4mm wear between front and rear tyres. Since my rears were on 4mm he advised changing all four, rather than just the fronts.

Not sure if anyone was aware of this.

Anyway i know its been well covered, but just wondered on tyre choices, 17inch wheels.

Probley going for Goodyear F1 215/40/17 (£114 each) as i havent heard a bad word about them.

Other options are

P-Zero Assim 205/45/17(£119 each) - Standard tyres, seem fine but not very liked out there.

Bridgestone RE040 205/45/17 (£199 a pair on special) - Told these are taking over from SO3 range, good name but heard they have tramlining problems.

Just wanted to find out what others thought and if there were anyother options out there.
