Post what are the best all round tyres to buy

Hi, i've had my dearly beloved type r now for 7 months and she's due some tyres do you have to replace all 4 at once (being 4wd) or 2 at a time.

Hi. Really in wrong forum, should be in Technical, Wheels etc. You will get answers here but do a search in Wheels etc. There are differing views on tyres so you need to read threads and make up your own mind.

You should replace all four at once but it isnt as critical as on, say, a Calibre four wheel drive, where a tiny difference in circumferance could bugger up the transmission.

In future Id move them around every so often to equalise wear.

THANKS SIMON FOR A RESPECTFULLY HONEST REPLY , THE TYRES THAT WERE ON THE CAR WHEN I BOUGHT IT WERE BRAND NEW AND HAVE ALL WORN QUITE EVENLY BUT THANKS FOR THE ADVICE CHEERS LEE.

GoodYear Eagle F1 are well rated on here.

I've had a set on mine for the last few months - recommended.

You should be able to get them supplied, fitted and balanced for between £80-£95 each inc vat

I got mine from Kwikfit for £80 each on 16" wheels

Note dont take the first price kwikfit say- haggle

I phoned around today at work and have got them locally for £75 each so heading there at the weekend £300 for a full set not bad eh.....
