Question Wheels for '02 and '05 STis

Hi,

I've got a set of 18" 11-spoke (?Speedlines? - Standard Subaru upgrade item) on my '02 StiUK. If I buy an '05, will I be able to keep the Speedlines, putting the '05 OEM wheels on the '02 prior to P/X??

Cheers

Phil

Have read elsewhere that the pcd is different on '05 STi's. So the '02 wheels won't fit the '05 car and neither will the '05 wheels fit the '02 car.

no, makes complete sense when you are trying to improve the cars wheel bearing sizes Phil. The hubs on the MY05 are much bigger than previous to allow bigger wheel bearings, which gives better cornering and braking performance and longer service life. To acomodate the bigger bearings they had to increase the PCD of the wheels.

Ah-ha. Nothing to do with curing the 02/03 NSR suspension rattle perchance, says he, wondering out loud......

Cheers John!

The struts on the MY05 STi Spec C TypeRA are much beafier. Dont know what they did to the UK model though.
