Wheel weight
I'm thinking of getting a set of wheels from someone on here and would need them couriered. Would anyone know the average weight of an alloy wheel with/without a tyre fitted? So I can get a price for postage.
Cheers.

17" STi wheels with Bridgestone RE070's come in at about 26kg each. When I looked into postage, Parcel Farce wanted over £100. A local courier firm could be the best option, mine quoted £67. Another suggestion I received was Palletline (?), whom I believe charge a flat rate per pallet. You just have to strap and wrap them to a euro standard sized pallet.

Try www.postvan.com - very reasonable rates.
I've sent tyres before no problems (not wheels and tyres tho')
If under 35kg it's £16.95+vat
