Cool Eagle F1 GSD3 question

Hi all,

Just about to get myself some Eagle F1s for my MY99 running 16" wheels based on recommendations on here. I've notice that several people have referred to their soft sidewalls not being to their liking, but this can be rectified by increasing tyre pressure.

What pressure have people found optimal. I run my Std Bridgestone on the Subaru recommended 32psi front 28psi rear. Is this ok for the F1s?

Many thanks for any advice.

The F1s are like jelly compared to the original bridgestones, but after a while I prefer them and found they give me a lot more feedback as to how the tyre grip is.

I run 33 fronts, 31 rear

Eeek, it doesn't sound like I'll like em much at first, but they'll grow on me! I find the limit of adhesion quite difficult to judge on the std Bridgestones (whats the full tyre name is it RE070?) I've never even heard them chirp or squeel, maybe I'm not trying hard enough! I've always had a disconcerting feeling that they might grip and grip then just break away without any notice.

I'll try the pressures you recommend too.

Many thanks Andy

Regards,

Paul.

Dont forget you will need a 1000 miles before you can get the best grip out of them, feel a bit greasy at first
