Does anybody make a cheap non-directional 215/40x17 tyre that will do for a spare?

I've just had a puncture that was (thankfully) repairable but I'd like to fit a full sized spare. The tyre would obviously have to be non directional but the only one my local ATS could find was a Michelin at £150
I just want something cheap to keep for a spare only - does anybody know of anything suitable? Thanks

Hello mate, if you go to www.mytyres.co.uk they are really cheap for tyres and they recommend places local to you to get the tyre fitted. I've used them sice i had an escort and use them now i've got the scoobs.
They sell loads of brands of tyres and some cheap ones you han buy, think prices start from about £49.
Hope this helps.
