I'm going on a trip to the 'ring later this year and want to take a spare set of brake pads. I'm quite happy with the performance of the standard brakes, so I'm just after a cheap source of Subaru OE or comparable pads. My car is an '05 JDM STI with the standard Brembo calipers.
Any suggestions please?

Andy,
Check out Ebay, there are original Brembo pads for these calipers going for around 30 quid
nice buy ![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Are you still using the RE070's or keeping your 18's on? as i can say the RE070's will stand up to the abuse better![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)

I've just bought a second set of standard 17" wheels with barely scrubbed-in RE070s on them, so I'll be using those. Now I have the final AST suspension fitted the ride quality isn't a problem any more, and I'll be putting a set of more appropriate wet weather tyres on my spare wheels ready for winter.
I never had 18's - can't afford them yet, sadly

seen the ones on ebay-would you put £30 brake pads on you car that you bought off the internet?!
try as performance-if you go to the ring it is probably uprating your brake pads to ds2500 unless you are not getting any fade at all on present pads, also worth getting better brake fluid and hoses
enjoy yourself at the ring-it is superb!!
