Default DS2000 OR 2500?

330mm AP 4 Pots 300bhp classic. Not a nutter, but enjoy the odd bit of spirited. No trackdays.
Which pads would you choose? Have some DS2000 in my GTI and they take a couple of presses to warm up, and the mrs uses the scoob a lot so wouldn't want that. Anybody?
Cheers, Daz

I have ds2500's in my AP's.

I would highly recomend them, they work from stone cold, they don't make any noise (even with no copper grease).

I have also done a few trackdays with them, and they work fine there too. The pedal softens a bit when they are really hot though.

Must agree. Have a Classic with AP 4 Pots and DS2500 pads. They are excellent from cold with no noise. Limiting factor was then bulkhead moving when pushing the pedal hard. Fitted a brace to the end of the master cylinder using the inner wing as a pick up point. I think it is made by MRT.

Cheers,

Graham

Also have run a couple of sets of DS2500s on my classic - running Pagids at the mo but will be back to the DS2500s soon! The Pagids RS4-2-1s havent lasted as long and I felt the DS2500s gave better braking too.

Looks like that's settled then. Does anybody have the part no for some to fit ap330mm 4 pots, and what sort of price should I be paying?
Don't mind how much they are, just dont want to get leg pulled.
Looking forward to trying some ds2500's now. I have some M1144's in at the min which IMO are just acceptable.
Cheers, Daz
