Question Long brake pedal - fluid?

Noticed when really pushing the car, my brake pedal gets very long after only a few hard stops. It'll go to the floor, but I usually just back way off until it comes back. I haven't tried pumping the pedal to firm it up.

I put this down to the fluid rather than the discs/pads. Discs and pads are EBC with just over 500-miles on them.

Does is sound like tired fluid? It's not really been flushed for a good while.

almost certainly fluid.......................only other thing would be if you had a little air trapped in the system............same result, you need to flush the system again

Thanks alyn, thought as much.

Can you tell me if you supply replacement bleed nipples for the stock 4-pot calipers?

Cheers,
Stefan

Thanks Alyn. They appear to have rounded and were a right PITA when I last bled the brakes @ Xmas.

Does anyone know the spec of the OE nipples or are the all the same thread?

Already got those. Can't say I noticed much difference with them though.
