Default Pirelli P Zero Asymmetrico

So then, are these any good ?

Have looked on the Pirelli website and it doesn't really say that much

Recently bought an sti and it is fitted with them all round, so just curious.

How do they stand in the Pirelli range, as compared to P Zero Nero for example ?

Anyone ?

Spoke to a chap at Prodrive who rated them above any other Tyre he'd ever tested. Hence the decision to supply them as standard on the P1. I asked him how they compared to the Nero's, to which he responded that they were good, but when tested on track the outside blocks started to tearaway.

this is a really helpful source of information

P Zero Assymetrico is quite an old tyre. The original 850R Volvos were shod with them in 1994. Never had a problem with them on my 00MY Classic

they are ****, ****, ****, **** ,****

had them on my car before my yoko's and they were ok in the dry but didn't give me much confidence in the wet.
they also had very unpredicatable loss of grip and were absolutley shocking after only a couple of laps on a trackday i did,

they last forever as well which gives you some idea of the hardness of the rubber and the grip they would give you as well

avoid em mate

Got 22k out of a set of F1 GSD3's and these are not particularly renowned for their hardness.

Thing is the car I got, the previous onwer has had to replace 2 sets of F1's as the side walls split on the inside..... :Q:Q

That's how the Asymmetricos got fitted as the tyre place didn't have any Toyo's in the right size Whish is a shame

PS, which Yoko's?

i've got the parada spec2's, i was going to get the toyo proxes t1-r's but got a good deal on the yoko's, £15 cheaper per tyre

sorry i misread your original post and didn't realise you had them already, when they're worn out i'd go for something else
