Angry Noise under braking

Has anyone else suffered from a clanking noise under braking..It is doing my head in!!!
Got a STI 8 and I have spoken to the local dealer and Subaru Uk to be told that the impreza does this..
Personally I think that is crap as my previous car did not but my brothers old type r did for a bit.
Car sounds like a pile of junk when parking up anywhere.
Any ideas ??

Cheers
Mark.

The Pads re-seat themselves each time you go from forward breaking to reverse breaking. It is normal for it to happen once each time you change breaking direction. It is also normal for them to SQUEAL loudly whilst breaking in reverse, so if your's don't do that, then think yourself lucky. That can turn heads from 100 yards!!

Unhappy

Cheers SHYTOT

Still can't believe that a scoob can be doing this,of the many cars I have had this is the only one to have done this and the service what normally is excellent from the local dealer is to say the least is very poor!!!!
Will certainly be starting to look elsewhere in future.
I don't suffer dealers that well as after all they are taking our hard earned cash!!!

Cheers
Mark.
