just wanted a bit of help on my scooby sport when i give the car a bit of stick and use brakes abit harder than norm they start to make a wooshing at the front just wondered if any one can help, i put mintex pads in the front still there but braking abit better still fade after abit though.thanks

i'd say its just the pad getting hot.it can be the gases forming under the pad and escaping,as your getting fade as well they must be getting hot,there's not a lot you can do about it apart from don't brake so hard,which isn't really possible,without spoiling the joys of the car.

p.s if you convert to bigger discs that should cure it

if the old coffers will stretch to it add drilled disks to the equation and all should be well
