Default Fitting classic alloys on a Newage???

Can any body tell me if Classic alloys will fit on my bug eye (51, UK300)?
I'm after some cheap 16" or 17" to use as track day wheels, seen a few set's on ebay & what to check if they will fit.
Also can you recemend any tyre's for a rough tarmac track?

Cheers Mark.

Standard 16's from the later classics will fit as long as you have the brakes that have 'SUBARU' on the caliper, they will not fit over big brakes...... you may need to use a higher profile tyre though, due to the difference in rolling radius....

I've got a set of gold subaru 16" five spokes on my classic, however they were originally taken off a mate's JDM bugeye wrx, so as far as I'm aware you shouldn't have a problem putting the 16s on yours
