Default WRX Big Brake conversions

Im thinking of getting a big brake conversion for my 04 WRX, at the moment im running 18" OZ prodrive WRC-1 alloys, what kits can I consider to fit, as Ive heard some wont fit and need some advice as I dont want to be making expensive mistakes.

Anyone else had big brake conversions on there newage WRX's, and have any pictures.

I hope to do mine at some point but will be sticking to the Prodrive kit. I know it's not regarded as good as say the AP conversion, but want to keep the mods to Prodrive only.

We were up at Revolution the other week and their WRX demo has 12-piston 355mm Tarox kit on and they reckon it will fit under 18's no problem. They looked f**in massive!!!
The pictures are on their website if anyone wants a look.

Would love AP's but could not justify the cost so in the end i went for the Godspeed 335 kit, have used them on track and have had no problems with them at all

Bought the AP 6-Pots with 355mm discs today, have never done a track day before but hoping to in the next couple of weeks or so.

Good choice!

Don't quote me on this but Tarox are the worst of the big brake kits. Best putting your money into AP's. Speak to Alyn at AS Performance. He'll give you good advice.

Tarox????
I had ceramics disc. Not really cera, its classic disc with 2mm ceramics plate and last up to 10 000km (me and my wife driven car in the city) and you get no warranty. Answer from Tarox: Buy another and we give you -20%....great for 1500€ (discs + pads)
So if you want good looking brake, go for it but if you want good brake kit buy AP or Prodrive-Alcon

Depends how big and who makes em, if you want the best i.e. AP 6 pots then I wouldn't expect much change from £1600.

Kits usually comprises: Calipers, pads, hoses and discs.
