which pad for brembos

i have recantly put the gold calipper brembos on my scooby.the front pads have worn out now. someone suggested mintex pads as they are cheaper and perform better.is this true? the original pads cost 500+ euro here in greece ( thats about 330 quid in real money)
can someone also tel me, how i am supposed to ask the dealer for the part number of the pads as each time i call they are asking me my shasi number which is not an sti

Answer

Brembo caliper is the same as the Alfa 156, just clip the pad wear connector off before you put the wheels back on, the rear pads are the same as a Lotus Elise front
