Default Bridgestone S03

I have been reading a thread within the wheel/tyre forum and there is no mention of this tyre.

Has anyone used it or is it to be avoided?

Tyre size is 205/50/16

Anyone?!

Default SO3's

I'm just coming to the end of mine. After enquiring, I can't get a further set. Wicked tyres tho, well grippy in the dry, a little twitchy in the wet. Side-walls way too stiff, too much feedback, lots of road noise, twitches on every little divot and bump in the road+ white lines etc. And they didn't last 5mins.........

.........all said and done, even after slagging them off, I would get them again !! Even tho they're over priced too.

To cut a long story short, good for hard driving, just not everyday.

Toyos next time!!

I found the S03 to be a very good all-rounder, but quite a bit more expensive than other tyres with similar abilities.

They are a good tyre. I had 195/50/15's on an escort GTi. I would have put them onit again but not on the scoob. Mich PS2's are much better. SO3's tended to tramline a fair bit and in the damp and snow they were rubbish, not to mention noisy. Dry or properly wet they were the nuts. Other people that drove my car didn't like them though. There are better tyres for the same or similar money.
